⭐ 0 out of 5 for Service I’ve been visiting this McDonald’s in San Ysidro for over 40 years and I have never been treated so badly. The manager Rosie was completely rude and arrogant. I went to order 2 combos, 2 coffees, and a large fries. When I asked for condiments, first she told me she couldn’t give me any, then she said only 1 BBQ and 1 Buffalo sauce, and that if I wanted more, I had to pay. The problem wasn’t paying — the problem was her attitude: she turned her back on me before I even finished talking and completely ignored me. When I asked for a number to report what happened, she arrogantly replied: “I’m the general manager.” Honestly, I don’t understand how they have someone like her in that position. It’s clear she’s rude and unprepared to deal with customers, let alone lead a restaurant. I left very disappointed. You might expect poor service from an inexperienced employee, but not from the so-called general manager. With combos costing $15 each, they still want to charge for condiments and on top of that give terrible service. This McDonald’s gets worse every day. Very sad to see how much it has gone downhill after being a loyal customer for decades.

Rosa and Alejandra were very kind and greeting me and getting my order quick and came out hot and fresh also place is very clean and organized!

They didn’t take my order as the drive through for 5 minutes but took it in the adjacent lane. After 3 cars in the other lane had passed through, I pulled ahead to order anyhow. I was greeted in Spanish. I said hello in english and all of the 3 staff I interacted with could barely get an English word out. Mostly a look of bewilderment. I tried 4 times to communicate my drive through app 4-digit number for points and they couldn’t adequately enter it into their computer, so i abandoned that. By the grace of God, I was able to order food for my family. In all, with all of the drive through waiting until I had my food in my hands, it was well over 25 minutes. The food was good, however. The majority of this location’s LCD screens were glitched out. Not sure what they’re doing with all their McDonalds money, but it’s not on adequate staff or equipment.

I was gonna rate 5 stars to pay respects to the mass shooting in 1984, but looking at the reviews, I dont think this locations doing too good.
