McDonald's Menu Prices at 749 Fish Creek Thoroughfare ★3.8 (118)

This is one of those McDonald's that you order at the kiosk, there's no drink station, sometimes it's clean and sometimes not. But my last visit was a real bummer. I always order through the app. When I got to the speaker they couldn't find my order. Get to the window. They finally find it. The reason I go is because my daughter likes the happy meals. So I'll treat her to one every now and again. Well when I get to the second window the person working the window asked what size sprite we had, I said kid size. He proceeds to pour sprite from one cup into the kids cup 🤦🏽‍♀️. If you've ever worked in the food I industry you know that's a huge no-no. They need to work on training their staff better when it comes to proper drink making. It may not seem like a big deal but to me it is. So. It's a hit and a miss when it comes to this location. And also when ordering through curbside expect to wait a good minute before receiving your food.

I tried to order the $5 sausage egg and cheese McGriddle meal this morning but the crew trainer, assistant manager and manager told me I had to order it on the app to get that price. The sign outside and the ads on tv do not say you have to use the app. One or two of them told me there’s not a button on their computer for that deal. Very frustrating.

Edit - 12/27/2025 - I’m editing my response because I just received a call from McDonalds and I’m very confident that they will look into my complaints. Thank you for the quick response! When we moved to Woodforest 2 years ago this was the best McDonald. The food was great, the staff and management were amazing! NOW it’s the worse after the new owners took over. The coke machine was broken, the ice cream machine is always broken, the food is undercooked or overcooked and you have to be careful when you get sauce packs. I always get a bad sauce. Today I received a bad picante sauce and put it on my overcooked Egg McMuffin, and ruined the sandwich. The employees need training and management couldn’t care less. The owner needs to do an overhaul on this place!

This McDonald’s is the best location I’ve ever visited. The staff are always friendly and nice and the place well maintained, & clean. The staff works hard. They also employ people with disabilities who are amazing workers. Just all around a really good McDonalds as far as McDonald’s go. The manager probably deserves a raise!

The manager did an excellent job of correcting a mistake made on my order and I left a happy customer. People make mistakes and we need to understand that and have patience. God bless America and everybody works at the McDonald’s. I didn’t catch the manager’s name, but I’m sure you can look up the date and time as it’s now 10 PM and see the manager who is on staff. He gets an A+ in my book.
