McDonald's Menu Prices at 13255 Jones Rd ★3.6 (1302)

I had a great experience at this McDonald’s location. I ordered a Double Cheeseburger with extra cheese and no onions, and it came exactly the way I asked for. The fries without salt were delicious, and everything arrived at my table super quickly, in about 10 minutes. I ordered through the app, which has lots of promotions and also lets you collect points. The place was very clean, and the staff were kind and polite. I was also happy that the sauce was free of charge. I really recommend this location, especially for lunch time. The only thing I found a bit unsafe was an external hydrant on the wall near the entrance if you’re distracted, you might bump your chest on it since it’s right in line with the door.

As of the past couple of months this location has gone down hill. Asking for sauces has become an issue. They will not add them to your bag then when you ask for them they try to charge you for them or they’ll straight out refuse to give them to you. Not sure why I can put 3 sauces on my order at the kiosk if I’m “not allowed” to have that many. Also, their fries have almost no salt on them lately and the soda machines are always messed up (not enough syrup or too much syrup). Sad because this use to be a decent McDonald’s spot just a few months ago.

I normally don’t write reviews, but this experience really deserves attention. I’ve been coming to this McDonald’s on Jones Rd in Cypress a few times a week for months after my overnight shifts, and I’ve never had an issue — until this morning (Nov 10, around 6:30 AM). From the moment I pulled up to the drive-thru, the employee (Julia — heavier build, glasses, red and black hair) was clearly unhappy to be there. She groaned instead of greeting me and cut me off several times mid-order. I tried to stay patient, but when I asked for a Chips Ahoy frappe and she said the machine was down, I made a light-hearted awkward joke about how McDonald’s machines are “always broken.” I even said it smiling. Instead of laughing it off, she snapped “Are you going to order, yes or no?” in a rude tone. When I calmly told her there was no need to be rude, she accused me of being rude and refused to take my order entirely. After working a 16-hour shift and being starving, exhausted, and forced to get out of my car in 41-degree weather, that was the last thing I expected. I parked, went inside, and asked for the manager — only to be met by (what I believe was the same person) who immediately said, “Well what did you say to her to make her say that? She then repeated the same dismissive line: “Are you going to order or not?” I was shocked. I never raised my voice or cursed — I just wanted to eat and explain what happened. Instead, I was treated with hostility, sarcasm, and complete lack of professionalism. I left without ordering because I was too uncomfortable and honestly a bit afraid to let them handle my food after that. I’ve worked in customer service for over eight years, and I’ve never seen behavior like that. I know everyone has bad days, but this was blatant rudeness and refusal of service toward a regular customer for something so small. I truly hope upper management sees this and addresses it because no one should have to start their morning being spoken to that way.

Manager Sugeys is rude, I came and explain to her the situation and she insisted that I was wrong on something that they didnt give me. I kept asking for her name and another manager to speak to and she was still insisting that I was wrong. I Came In there being nice and polite and she was just having a attitude towards me.

I have never been treated with such disrespect in my life and at a McDonald’s, of all places! I placed my order, and they got it wrong. Fine, mistakes happen. But when they brought me the “replacement,” the so-called manager literally yanked the burger out of my hand without saying a word. We ended up in this ridiculous tug-of-war over the sandwich the burger flew one way, the bun went another a complete, humiliating mess in front of everyone. Then, as if that wasn’t enough, when they brought the “correct” burger, she slammed it onto the counter like she was doing me some sort of favor. No apology, no courtesy, nothing. I left feeling shocked, humiliated, and wondering how someone with that attitude could ever be a “manager.” If these employees are so unhappy working for little pay, they should find another job instead of taking it out on customers. There is absolutely no excuse for treating people this way. I will never return to this location.
