To dine at McDonald’s is to engage in a deeply postmodern culinary ritual — one that transcends mere sustenance and enters the realm of cultural anthropology. Beneath the softly humming fluorescence and the ever-present aroma of engineered nostalgia lies a meticulously orchestrated symphony of salt, fat, and sugar, composed not to challenge the palate, but to cradle it in comforting predictability. The Big Mac, that towering monument to processed ambition, achieves an almost philosophical balance between excess and restraint. Each bite unfolds with algorithmic precision: the gentle resistance of the sesame-studded bun, the velvety surrender of American cheese, and the clandestine tang of the “special sauce,” whose guarded recipe rivals that of any medieval alchemical manuscript. It is less a sandwich and more a case study in industrial elegance. The fries, of course, deserve their own soliloquy. Golden, brittle, and fleeting, they offer a paradoxical blend of ephemerality and addiction — a fleeting crunch that lingers in memory long after the carton lies empty. They are a triumph of sensory engineering, calibrated to ensure that one is never quite satisfied, yet never entirely displeased. Even the ambiance contributes to the experience. The minimalist décor and ergonomic seating whisper subtle encouragements toward efficiency, reminding patrons that lingering is an indulgence, not a right. Here, time itself is commodified, compressed into fifteen-minute intervals of edible solace. In totality, McDonald’s is not merely fast food; it is an edible manifesto of late-stage capitalism, a global cathedral of convenience where billions come to worship at the altar of consistency. One does not simply eat at McDonald’s — one participates in a ritual as old as modernity itself, seeking comfort in uniformity and meaning in the familiar.

I don’t understand why I keep thinking this place will get it together. They make you go to the waiting area for the smallest orders and still have you waiting over 15 minutes. Even after I told the man at the window I was not going to the waiting area because they forgot about me last time. I only had one meal order!! I give it to you if it’s a complicated order for several things. But when it’s one order and it’s simple and I still have to wait, it’s ridiculous. Save the time go to CFA

Horrible service, way too slow and the employees and managers do not care nor do they know what they are doing... please find new managers that knows how to handle customer complaints and can properly train their employees to NOT ignore the guest.

When I used the drive thru at this McDonalds. Service was fast and friendly. Service for customers inside is very slow. I find that to be common among a lot of fast food restaurants. The focus is on moving the drive-thru line to the detriment of customers that want to order inside. The other issue that I had with this restaurant is people loitering in front of the restaurant. The last time I visited there were at least a dozen people on the sidewalk. Restaurant management should ask them to move on. It's in a convenient location at the SE corner of East Crosstimbers/Fulton - diagonally across from Wal-Mart.

Avoid this McDonalds at all cost. I was working a late shift and stopped here at night around 10:30 and got a simple meal of a burger and a six piece. When I got my order I should’ve know something was wrong cause the waiter was laughing asking what I ordered. Not thinking anything I told her and grabbed my order. Driving away I started with my burger, which tasted a little off, but I still finished it. However I wasn’t concerned until i opened the nuggets and inside was only sauce and no nuggets whatsoever. So now I’m not sure if the staff was just messing with me or intentionally put something in my food because I’m a first responder. All I can say for sure is to avoid this McDonald cause who knows what the staff is doing to your food.

MenuPriceTracker vs. Delivery Apps & Other Price Sites

How do these prices compare to what Uber Eats, DoorDash, or Grubhub show?

Uber Eats, DoorDash, Grubhub, and Seamless inflate McDonald's menu prices by 15–30% on top of the in-store price before adding delivery fees, service fees, and tip. The price you see on a delivery app is not what McDonald's charges at the counter. MenuPriceTracker shows the real menu price from the McDonald's app — what you'd actually pay walking into the restaurant or ordering at the kiosk.

Why not just check TripAdvisor for McDonald's prices?

TripAdvisor doesn't track individual McDonald's store prices. Any price information on TripAdvisor is user-submitted, covers only a small fraction of locations, and can be months or years out of date. MenuPriceTracker tracks store-level prices for 9,200+ US McDonald's locations across all 50 states, refreshed monthly from the McDonald's app.
