McDonald's Menu Prices at 18250 23 Mile Rd ★3.3 (1168)

I’m only giving this place a 2 star because I’ve had nothing but good experiences prior to today, but this most recent visit tipped me over the edge to write this review. To start off, I ordered on the app for the convenience. I went up the drive thru and the person on the speaker said “hey I’m sorry but our servers are rebooting right now, can you come inside?” I said sure, so I pulled around, parked, and walked to the door… it was locked. Not only was it locked, there was an employee at the counter STARRING AT ME DOING NOTHING! I went back to my car and went back into the drive thru to get my order I had already paid for. This time with a different person on the speaker, I kindly informed them on what happened, and moved forward. When I got to the second window to get my food, the person who was supposed to be giving me my food was playing on his phone. Lovely. And another employee had to give me my bag. I checked my bag at the window and it all appeared fine, this was until I came home and closely inspected my medium fry I ordered. I ate this entire “medium” fry in a total of 5 bites, this is NOT a medium, this is a small or a kids serving worth of fry’s, all that wait just for this. I used to consider this location to be one of the better McDonalds locations in the area, but I will not be coming back until you get better staff.

While waiting in line to place my breakfast order, I reached the window The employee promptly took my order and returned it to me. However, two minutes later, the same employee informed me that she was unable to fulfill my order because the grills had been turned off. This claim is clearly false, as we all know that the grills are operational. I requested to speak with the manager, but he declined to engage in a conversation with me. When I attempted to approach the manager to discuss the matter further, I was met with extremely rude behavior. Additionally, an elderly woman was present in the restaurant and exhibited similar rudeness while handling breakfast orders. In light of my recent experience at this McDonald’s, I strongly advise against visiting this establishment if you prioritize exceptional service and a positive dining experience. If you are indifferent to the quality of your food, you may consider patronizing this restaurant, as you will likely be treated with disrespect and treated as if you are of low value. I recently received a generic response from the owner of the McDonald’s, requesting additional information. However, I am unsure what more I can provide them beyond the details of my experience. It is concerning that the same generic response has been received by numerous other customers who have shared similar negative experiences. Given the circumstances, I would expect a more appropriate response from the owner after my recent encounter.

Waited 8min to be helped in the drive-thru then proceeded to wait 25+min for my food. So much for “fast food”! I should also add that it wasn’t busy at all. Reimburse me for my time and money..

I ordered off the mobile app 20 mins ahead of pickup. Per usual my order was not ready whatsoever. My interaction with the intercoms dude was fantastic but the 2nd window dude.. was not IT! He mocked me and made fun of voice. BUT… I got the last word in BUDDY.

Terrible customer service. They forgot our French fries in the order, and when we called as soon as we realized, they hung up on us, no apology, nothing. Absolutely unacceptable. Do NOT go there. Shame on you.
